Along the banks of the Yellowstone River in South Central Montana. Taken just upriver from where the Yellowstone meets the Clarks fork. As the sun was coming up on this still short stretch of river in early spring. Steam rising from the river. The ice had just melted off the banks. A quiet, solitude moment where the only noise was the water of the river carving it's path through the big sky country.
